​Every year, the number of women competing in the AAU Women's Championships increases. With the ever-growing popularity of the sport among women, it's hard to imagine that just two generations ago women's powerlifting was unheard of. Not only did women cross over to the platform and begin competing, they also became judges, promoters, and coaches.

All State, National and World Championship records and accomplishments from 1986 thru 1994 were achieved in another drug free lifting federation. 3 time National Champion and 2 time World Champion. Numerous National and World records achieved during career.

Trained and mentored by Bernie Yamada one of the all time great lifters who was a top competitor in his own right.
