​Every year, the number of women competing in the AAU Women's Championships increases. With the ever-growing popularity of the sport among women, it's hard to imagine that just two generations ago women's powerlifting was unheard of. Not only did women cross over to the sport and begin competing, they also became judges, promoters, and coaches.
